We made it! Many of you may know that my husband retired from the army with more than 20 years of service this summer. We decided as a family to buy our forever home in Maine. And so our final journey began, packing up garlic, too many books, my 97 year old grandma, and years worth of memories from moving across the country. During the best of times that would have been a challenge, but during Covid, it seemed insurmountable. Yet here we are, we did it, and so I write this with a renewed sense of excitement, hope, and adventure. Before telling you all about our latest findings, please let me take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for supporting our small garden business for the last year. Your words of encouragement, kindness, and unwavering interest has meant more to us than we can possibly express with words. And so it begins... We have just finished planting our garlic beds in Maine, and I just finished making more garlic powder and salt for the holiday season which will be on the website by this evening. We are growing a few new varieties this fall and look forward to telling you all about them in the coming blog posts. Before I sign off, please know that our family is thinking of all of you during these incredibly difficult times. We are sending our love and continued well wishes for health and happiness. Stay tuned for some fun new recipes I have discovered! Sincerely, Melissa Edwards
